Our services are geared toward providing positive long-term relationships and results with and for our customers.  However, each customer is in a "different place" in terms of their readiness to develop online learning offerings.  For this reason we offer the following types of services.  Some pricing is provided. 

Custom Development (Partners) - when a customer organization seeks to develop online learning offerings for their organization at a very high level (more than 8 - 10 course hours), then we typically suggest a partnership.  Partnership allows for the fluidity of communication and development as well as the ongoing strategic planning that is necessary to develop e-Learning solutions which will be relevant today and in the future.  It also allows SIM to provide customers with unparalleled rates for the services provided due to the mutual nature of the arrangement.

Custom Development (Contract) - when a customer organization is just putting "a toe in the waters" of online learning and wishes to develop only one or two course modules, they may prefer to work with us on a contract basis.  We will consult with you about your proposed contract and provide an estimate upon request. 

The drawback to this type of arrangement is that typically there is less flexibility to alter the project mid-stream or after it is completed, even if this might be the best option.  Additionally, the overall cost to the customer for services is higher when the projects are on a contract basis than when they fall into a partnership agreement.  when you contact us it's typically because you have a challenge or question which needs addressed.  An excellent service provider must always be able to correctly identify the challenge/question and focus on finding a solution as efficiently as possible.

The costs associated with a contract project may include:

• Course Development (Charged per finished hour of online course)
• Consulting (hourly)

• Hosting and Support (Per learner fee)

• Custom Programming (hourly)

Consulting (Contract) - when a customer organization is simply considering an online learning solution or feels that they have most of the resources but need our expertise to guide certain aspects of the project, we do provide consulting.  You are our customer and we will always treat you with courtesy and a friendly attitude.
